Gracious Father, Your Son grew in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and all people. Almighty, Eternal God, You are the creator, preserver and multiplier of the human race. You gave the Garden to man to work and instituted marriage while Adam and Eve still dwelt in paradise. Let your Word dwell richly in all young people as You nurture the faith given them in Baptism and strengthened by Your Holy Supper. Let what they learn be employed in mature Christian service, and grant them wisdom to discern what is false and to hold on to what is true as they seek godly spouses and employment opportunities according to your will; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Almighty and everlasting God, because You seek not the death but the life of all and You seek to draw all peoples until Yourself, hear our prayers for all those who are unbelieving international students in our midst, and all other students, staff and others on our nations campuses who have no right knowledge of You and are in need of the Gospel. Almighty and most merciful God, at this time of new beginnings, we pray Your blessing on all who are joined together on our nations campuses: students, faculty, and staff, and especially those who work to support our campus ministry at the University of Arizona. Grant that they may have wisdom as they proclaim the Gospel on campus and give them your grace that they may so work and study, think and pray, grow and relax together, that they may be more perfectly fitted to serve You and their neighbors in the work You have given them to do.
